Before you Begin Building a Form
Before you begin creating a form in Dynamic Forms, review the following resources. Each page provides important guidance, standards, and examples to help you plan your workflow, design an accessible form, and follow best practices throughout the build process.
Before starting the form-building process, it’s important to plan your form’s structure and workflow diagram. This includes gathering requirements, outlining the layout, and mapping how the form will move between participants — who reviews it, what is being evaluated, and the possible outcomes at each step. Careful planning guarantees a more efficient build and a clear, well-defined process.
This planning phase involves two main components: creating a form mockup and building a form workflow diagram. Both should be reviewed and approved by the Dynamic Forms (DF) Team before you begin building your form.
