How to configuring Admin Notification Form Level Settings
Once you have created a new form, the Form Level Settings menu will allow you to set your Forms Admin Notification(s).
NOTE: Sometimes it’s best to design your form first, then revisit and set these settings later.
*REMEMBER TO CLICK SAVE, highlighted in Red at bottom of screen, after modifying settings and before moving to another area.
Admin notifications - form level settings can be found on the left side at the top of the menu.
Admin Notification
- Notification Frequency – When forms are submitted, this identifies how often the Admins listed should be notified.
- Every 24 Hours – Admin notification will be sent once every 24 hours if one or more forms are submitted during that 24 hour period.
- Every Form – Admin notification will be sent every time a new form is submitted.
- Notification email recipient(s) – This is where you would list each admin’s Yale email address for whom should receive a notification based on the Notification Frequency stated above.
- Use custom email? – If No is selected, a generic notification stating “Forms have been submitted” is sent to admin identified. If Yes is selected, it enables the ability to create a customized email template that will be sent to the admins identified, with the ability to reference fields collected within the form, by using the Dynamic Email values.
*REMEMBER TO CLICK SAVE, highlighted in Red at bottom of screen, after modifying settings and before moving to another area.
